SquishCo Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 17 September 2026

These terms apply to orders placed through the SquishCo website. Please read them before buying. By placing an order, you agree to the terms available at checkout. Nothing in these terms removes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

1 About SquishCo

SquishCo is operated by David Gasan, trading as SquishCo, ABN 33 539 291 169 (we, us or our).

Website: https://squishcoshop.com.au
Customer enquiries: squishcompany.au@gmail.com

2 Placing an order

You must be 18 or over to place an order. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to place the order for you. The person placing the order must be authorised to use the payment method provided and must supply accurate contact and delivery details.

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An automated order receipt acknowledges your order; we accept it when we send a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot accept an order because stock is unavailable, payment cannot be processed, there is a material listing error, or we reasonably suspect fraud, we will contact you promptly. Any payment taken for an unaccepted order will be refunded, including delivery charges for a fully cancelled order.

3 Products and descriptions

Please read the product description, dimensions, age guidance and care instructions before buying. Screen settings may affect how colours appear, and any stated measurements are approximate. Products must still match their description and meet applicable consumer guarantees. We will not substitute a different item without your agreement.

4 Prices and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars. We are not currently registered for GST and do not charge GST. Delivery charges and any other applicable charges are shown before you complete checkout. Payment is due when you place your order using an available checkout method.

Prices may change for future orders. We will not increase the price of an existing order without your agreement. If we identify a material pricing error before acceptance, we will explain it and offer you the choice of proceeding at the corrected price or receiving a full refund. Promotion conditions and expiry dates will be shown with the offer.

5 Delivery

We deliver within Australia to the locations available at checkout. Dispatch and delivery estimates are shown on the website or at checkout. Unless expressly stated otherwise, these are estimates rather than guaranteed dates. If we become aware of a significant delay, we will contact you with the available options, including cancellation and a refund where required by law.

Please check your delivery address carefully. If an address error you made causes a parcel to be returned, we may ask you to pay the reasonable actual cost of redelivery, agreed with you beforehand. We cover redelivery costs caused by our error.

If a parcel is missing, damaged or marked as delivered but cannot be found, contact us. We will investigate with the carrier and provide any remedy required by law. We remain responsible for resolving delivery issues and will not require you to pursue the carrier as your only remedy.

6 Order changes and cancellations

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. If it has not been dispatched, we will cancel it and refund your payment on request. Once dispatched, changes may not be possible and the returns provisions below apply. This does not affect any separate right to cancel under the Australian Consumer Law.

7 Change of mind returns

We do not offer returns, exchanges or refunds simply because you change your mind, choose the wrong product or no longer want it, except for cancellations accepted under section 6 or an offer expressly made at the time of sale. This policy does not apply to faulty, unsafe, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods, or otherwise limit your legal rights.

8 Faulty goods and consumer rights

Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply to our products and cannot be excluded by these terms. If a product has a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement, or keep it and claim compensation for its reduced value. You may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by the failure.

For a minor failure that can be remedied, we will provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time. If we cannot or do not do so, you have further rights, which may include a refund, replacement or reimbursement of reasonable repair costs.

These rights apply to sale items too. We do not impose a fixed reporting deadline that limits your statutory rights, and original packaging is not required for a consumer guarantee claim. Damage caused by misuse does not itself establish a product defect; products must nevertheless be reasonably durable and suitable for their intended use.

9 How to report a problem

Email squishcompany.au@gmail.com with your order number or other proof of purchase and a description of the problem. Photos can help where practical, but we will work with you if you cannot provide them. Please contact us before returning an item so we can provide suitable return instructions.

We may reasonably assess the product before deciding the remedy. Where a product is confirmed to have a fault covered by consumer guarantees, we will cover reasonable return costs. We will also cover reasonable return costs for incorrect goods we send. Refunds will be made promptly to the original payment method unless we agree otherwise with you; we will not require store credit instead of a refund you are entitled to receive.

10 Product safety and care

Squishies are not food and must not be eaten, chewed or placed in the mouth. Follow the age restrictions, warnings and care instructions on each product listing and its packaging. Adults should choose products appropriate to the child and supervise use as directed. Keep packaging and any small or detached parts away from young children.

Do not cut or puncture a squishy. If it splits, leaks, sheds pieces or becomes otherwise unsafe, stop using it, keep it away from children and contact us. Follow any recall or disposal instructions we provide. These precautions do not reduce our responsibility to supply safe products or your legal rights.

11 Website use and content

You may use the website to browse and shop for lawful personal purposes. Do not interfere with its operation, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access or submit fraudulent orders.

Our branding, photographs and original website content belong to us or our licensors. You may share links to our product pages, but commercial reproduction of our content requires the relevant owner’s permission unless permitted by law.

12 Privacy

Our Privacy Policy at https://squishcoshop.com.au/privacy-policy explains how we collect, use and handle personal information when you browse or shop with us, including the service providers involved in operating the store, processing payments and delivering orders. Please contact squishcompany.au@gmail.com with privacy questions.

13 Changes and resolving concerns

We may update these terms for future orders by publishing a revised version on our website. The terms available when you place an order will continue to apply to that order.

Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from seeking assistance from a consumer regulator, tribunal or court. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings elsewhere that apply to you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue so far as legally possible.
